I am associated with the Temple Management Committee for the last four years. The details provided are authentic and quite useful. I would like to add few more details about this temple managed by Hindu Society of Victoria. The temple is unique in providing the pooja services for many deities including - Ganapathi (Vinayaka), Shiva, Visalakshi (Parvathi), Vishnu (Balaji), Padmavathi (Laksmi), Andal, Muruga (Subramania Swamy)-SriValli-Devasena, Rama-Sitha-Lakshman, RamakotiSthoopi, Hanuman (Anjaneya), Krishna, Ayyappa, Laksmi-Parvathi-Durga, Natraj, Navagraha and Bhairava. The temple canteen - Annapoorna Cafe - is an attraction for devotees and visitors with tasty varieties of food, snacks and packets made available by many dedicated volunteers. In May 2012, Cultural and Heritage Centre is opened for all Melbournians for weddings and other group functions. It is a large complex constructed with a major expense of about ten million dollars. The successful completion of this mammoth project had a major contribution of one million dollars from Victorian State Government as donation in 2011.
