Stayed here on my recent visit to melbourne. Fantastic! Cheap and comfy.

My Boyfriend and I stayed here as I was competing in a beauty pageant in Melbourne. The location was very convenient and so was the parking. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful! The room was quite small, but we used that to our advantage as we knew we wouldn't leave anything behind! Lots of TV channels and the bed was very comfortable. Heater worked perfectly and the shower was great too! Enjoyed a tea and coffee from the facilities provided. Absolutely great quality for the price! Stayed 14th-17th of June 2013 at only $89 a night!

After reading the reviews online we were slightly worried about this place. We expected the worst, but upon arrival, the room was spotless. The bed was freshly made and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and the toilet and shower were separate. We had a great view out the huge windows. The TV was a bit on the old side and had no working remote, and our bathroom light seemed to be incorrectly fitted or something and blew the fuse which turned off all the lights in the room, but a quick call to reception fixed that up in minutes. We stayed on the fifth floor, well above the student accommodation levels. We ordered room service from the hotel restaurant (JD's Bar and Grill). The food was terrible and we had trouble getting through it. Close to train and tram stops. Would stay again.
