I had my 21st Birthday Dinner Party there and I LOVED IT! The waiters were so kind and helpful with everything especially having a big group of 44 guests. All my guests enjoyed themselves, not worrying about food orders and the waiters were very professional! Not to mention, the manager of Burwood Sofia was SOOOO generous, he gave me( birthday girl) and my partner a bottle of wine to thank you us for having my party at their Sofia restaurant. We both did not expect that at all! I certainly do recommend parties or general dining at Burwood Sofia!

Massive plates of food for the price. A big family setting with a playground. Food was okay.

I'm never going back there again! I had pasta that tasted like dough, my friend's carbonara had fluro green pasta which was really offputting. The place was packed and really loud, we got put next to the outside door so we had kids running in and out around us. The service was crap, when we asked to get our food put in takeaway containers the waiter just threw it on our table so we had to scoop it in ourselves. It was the biggest waste of money ever, i'd rather get a cheeseburger from maccas!

An exercise in extremes. Despite being very busy service was efficient and timely, but not personal or very courteous. Meals are huge, bordering on the ridiculous, however excellent doggy bags are provided on request. The food is hearty, tasty fare, and good value, especially for large groups or families with young children. The facilities are basic, the seating uncomfortable and the building generally grubby. The toilets were disgusting, with worse cleanliness than the average service station.
