As other people have mentioned, it can be quite expensive. I normally wouldn't mind, but I can't really see what you're paying for here. Most dishes are good solid versions of Chinese street food prepared quickly and with simple ingredients. Many dishes come with large amounts of chillies as garnish to cover the fact that they contain very little meat.

If i could add a photo of the dish it would speak a 1000 chillies - there were about 500 chillies and 500 beans with 3 pieces of chicken. That was what was recommended to my friend who was gluten intolerant, she was only having one dish. It was ridiculous. Our wagu beef could of been kangaroo for all we knew as it was so over cooked and ruined that you could not tell what you were eating. Our dish of pork was also served with 500 chillies and a small amount of overcooked pork - the cheapest off all meats. Needless to say we were very disappointing in most of our meal. Saved by the eggplant!! The service was good from the manager who agreed my friends dish was not the best recommendation, however myself a chef, my colleagues all travelers and diners were very disappointed with the food. I would not recommend the experience or go there again. Sorry

Great service, great food in a great atmosphere. A little over priced compared to others but you are paying for a great experience.

Entree/main courses were sensational. We picked 3 of each for four people (all dishes shared) as recommended by a waitress and it was just the right amount of food. Highlights were tingling prawns, crispy cooked quail, slow cooked chicken (never knew chicken could taste so good), and my favourite - tea smoked duck. The flavours are so intense I couldn't have eaten any whole dish myself - sharing is a must. Deserts did not live up to the standard set by the savoury dishes. I wouldn't bother with deserts next time. Good wine list with some reasonably priced options.

A high class version of yum cha, which could be overrated, but generally pulls off the hype. strangely, some of the best szechuan food in melbourne from neil perry.
