Sugo Restaurant - Malvern

I been here about 5 times, the food and staff are both friendly and enjoyable. A nice place for a nice lunch. The drinks do job nicely as well.

Went for dinner. Night shift barista adorable always smiling. Cocktails most flavoursome in town. Female manager needs to have revision on ettique for table service including delivery and collection of drinks and glasses to and from table. Not impressive to say the least. Staff know the menu well and very prompt service. Hoppers crossing

A friendly and warm establishment. Great breakfast menu with plenty of vegetarian options. Breakfast is priced as you'd expect ($10-18) and the servings are more than generous. Lunch and dinner menu gets fairly expensive, we had a $120 bill for two that was only an entree, a plate of antipasto, one pasta, and a few beers. Very nice atmosphere inside, with friendly staff.

Booked a table for mother's day lunch with family for 12.30. Travelled down from Ballarat to catch up with our children and was looking forward to a relaxing time with them. Was informed at 12.40 by waitress that we would need to be finished by 2 as table was booked for next seating. Also informed that they had 3 seatings for mothers day. If we had known this would not have booked - we were NOT informed of this at time of booking. Hence meal was not enjoyed - felt like we were being watched. Did feel for the waitress who had to inform us. Won't be going back or recommending. Just felt like we had to hurry to eat the food, pay and leave as quick as possible. Pity I cannot paste this on their website.

Great pizza and pasta....especially the duck farfelle. Also have the garlic and herb flatbread - its delicious. Same with the saganaki!
