2/3 I got the takeaway. It was good, took awhile but worth it. Customer service is definitely lacking. Menu said 13.90. Was charged 14.90. Gave a 50 and was initially only given back 5.10. I understand long days but I felt that the service was just trying to take advantage of a tourist.

2/3 Whilst friendly, food takes what feels like an ice age to appear - but it is very much worth the wait. I've never walked away from this restaurant unhappy, because despite the slowness it is always great food. I've had a selection of meat-based and vegetarian curries, all of them excellent. I could eat the naan bread forever.

3/3 Finally a decent hobart take away meal fit for a melbournian! Over the last few days we tried pizza (terrible) - thai, good but not much of it - and last night indian and it was great. Pricing spot on but the food was fantastic! Without a doubt I would have curry from Taj Palace again - thank you
