During my association with WIRES I have several visits to the vet unit. I can not speak highly enough of the vets and staff their. They continually do a fantasic job. Running a B&B I often go to the zoo for one reason or another. All the staff have always been particularly helpful and efficent. My guests are also continually praising the zoo over all.

See many African animals in the nearly natural habitat. Very informative and interactive discussions with zoo keepers. Driving in a relaxed pace safari-style - amazing.

Exceeded expectation, from the 6am morning walk (a must do, for all), to the day bike riding, great staff and very well set up zoo. My family loved it.

We were very exited about our Family get together for my 70th and our 40th anniversary, the actual experience was nothing like the adds on T.V. We waited for 10 min to get tickets for entry, then had to walk back across the car park to book a Golf Cart, after a 45 min wait we decided to drive our own cars which was just as well because our car was able to go wherever the carts could (without the $65.00 per 3 hr Hire) that's where it got hard, my wife and I are both pensioners and I man not able to walk any great distance, many of the so called attraction's are quite a walk from where cars are able to park, so we missed out on many things, the wait at the Kiosk was also very long (although reasonable value and quality for the money). All in all a very disappointing day for us, you would think they could hire more staff for weekends to avoid the long waits, and also warn Seniors the amount of walking that is to be done(BEFORE PAYING ENTRANCE FEE) Could and will not recommend this so called attraction to anyone.

A great family trip. Get there early to book bikes or an electric cart, best to bring the kids helmets. BBQ & picnic facilities are available as well as shops for snacks & a café. We visited in the heat of summer 38C plenty of places to stop for a drink & a rest. Would recommend a trip
