Thai Waterfront - Bella Vista

EXCELLENT FOOD AND GREAT SERVICE!!! Been here a few times with the family. Last Saturday was another wonderfull night. They were very busy on that night but service was very impressive. There are few Thai restaurant around there but none of them can beat Thai Waterfront. You get what you pay for...QUALITY!!!

This restaurant was over-hyped by work colleagues and, while it is good, I wouldn't say it's great. The menu has the standard fair. During lunch they have special which is reasonably priced. Outside of the lunch special, however, the menu takes a significant price hike. The price makes it difficult to recommend because the food doesn't stand out as much as it could.

Food was excellent - service was attentive but not overpowering. Will come back again when we're in the area.

An Indian-Thai restaurant, I found the menu to have an indian influence rather than a traditional thai cuisine.

Thai Waterfront is literally the epitome of a hidden gem; secluded in Sydney's Bella Vista, it is one of those eateries where to find you must first look. And judging from the amount of customers that walked in and out well into the night, many have now discovered this extravagant dining venue. The decor is inspired by a mix of traditional Indian furniture and more contemporary pieces, lending the restaurant a new, unique feel that makes you feel instantly comfortable. Overlooking a sparkling waterway with its towering fountain, Thai Waterfront's surroundings and design are superb, and easily matched if not dwarfed by their food. Offering a mix of Indian and Thai dishes, from mainstays such as traditional curries and noodles, to the decadent soft shell crab and a variety of fresh salads, it's safe to say that a customer will find something to their taste on the menu. The oil is fresh and golden brown, the salts and spices pop out, the meat is tender and the sauces are rich, and to top it off the dishes are moderately priced, the servings being generously portioned and served up alongside a never-ending supply of scented jasmine rice. Overall, it's incredibly hard to fault Thai Waterfront. Its locale and decorations are modern and new, its family-run service impeccable and friendly, and most importantly its food fresh and scrumptous. A fine place to dine if you're in the mood for a modern take on Indian and Thai food.
