The second floor balcony is a great place to sit and have a quiet beer or two or a casual bite to eat. The comfortable couches overlooking the street are the best bet but these are limited so if you want to have lunch try booking. Food is OK, had the burger, which was good, as well as the fish of the day, which was a bit bland.

There is nothing more I enjoy than sitting on the balcony tables, sipping on a cool beer and watching the teaming streets of coastal Byron Bay as the sun goes down. We then order some tappas, and it makes a great evening. Sure, you can get a snotty staff member (as you can get anywhere), and yes, the kitchen has been a bit slow for us too, but this restaurant is a "must do" on a trip to Byron (and you must ask for a balcony table!)...
