Disappointing sized meal...walked out still hungry...

We arrived at 6:30pm and waited until around 7:15pm before all our orders were taken. While the entrees came out in reasonable time, we waited an unreasonable amount of time for the plates to be cleared, and an even more unreasonable amount of time for our mains to arrive. At one point, we decided we'd had enough and asked the waitress to cancel our orders. She gruffly told us it would be another 2 minutes. Clearly another 2 minutes wait after almost an hour and a half wouldn't be a drama. But really, we didn't even want the food by then. Now, the place was very busy and there were several large tables that needed to be sorted before us. This could be forgiven if the waitress had had a quiet word with us. Instead, we were left to wait and wait and wait and wait and wait some more. So after the very generous 2 minutes, the food arrived - rather, the waitress stood at the side of the table an announced 'Chicken Burrito' - and we were 1) not hungry and 2) disinterested. She knew very well that we were unhappy. It was very ordinary and none of us finished our plates, yet we were slogged with the full bill - despite the almost 3 hours we had spent sitting foodless and largely drinkless. No apologies on the service. We were really disappointed. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but I wouldn't go back to test that theory.

The food is always amazing. Been there a few times and the service is really poor. We waited over 30mins just to get served for drinks!!!! They took down the wrong order, yet blamed it on us ....

My Family have been going to this mexican resturant for over 10 years and we love the authentic mexican food offered. Great value for money and full of flavour. gets really busy on friday and saturday night so bookings area must. They also do great take away with generous portions. When i tell my friends about this resturant they already know of it and also rave about it's delicious food.

Had dinner there last nite and food was was not - portions not huge but I found it filling nonetheless - pity it wasn't licensed though (they really should tell you this when you book as aren't any liquer stores neraby) but they don't mind BYO so remember to bring cold beer! I'm thinking 3 stars but maybe give them 4 because the waitress was really freindly and tried hard.....
