Terrible place, wish i never went there. I arrived with my mother and father from Hornsby hospital just after watching my grandma pass. The waitress was surly and unhelpful. The toilet didn't work and i was provided with a torch to walk through the dark to find a toilet in the adjacent nursery. There was no chicken or pork belly avaliable from the menu. The waitress and cook refused to serve entree's as mains. The place was empty except for three men at a table. It was cold. It was overpriced. We ended up going to the thai at terry hills and we were very happy there, great place, but the buddha belly is a pretentious hole of a place run by people without grace or a service mentality. They made us wait for about 15mins before taking our order and then telling us that everything we ordered was unavaliable. Naturally we left the place and the waitress and chef were very surly towards us as if it was their god given right to have customers. Don't go there. I am a very generous and patient person but rarely has a place gotten to me like the buddha belly. Again, don't waste your time at this place. Read some of the other reviews, clearly this place is not worth a grain of salt.

This was lovely. They are under new management. The food was great, it arrived quickly, was the right temperature, tasty and there was plenty of it. I was made to feel very welcome, I didn't have to wait and it was such a relaxed atmosphere, I loved the outdoor aspect to it. A very pleasant experience, I'll definitely be visiting again next time I'm over that way.

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years, for lunch mainly. We went at the weekend (I believe it's changed hands since I last went) and I thought it was terrible. I will never go back. It was over priced, terrible service and the food was at best OK in some cases. It was a set menu, I had satay skewers, which were chicken skewers with a little sauce drizzled over the top. I then had whole snapper with salad and hand cut fries - sounds nice doesn't it. That's what I thought too. When my plate came there was a large pile of chips, a deep fried fish and some salad behind the fish. I tasted a chip and it was luke warm, I felt another chip and it was frozen solid, as were all the other chips on the plate. It would have been funny if I hadn't been paying $50 for the pleasure of these two courses. The hand cut fries were actually frozen wedges out of a packet. I sent it back and said not to worry about bring me cooked frozen wedges. My plate came back without an attempt to clean it up. They had just taken the wedges off and the warm fish was now lying on the salad, which was also warm and soggy. Yum!!! We had to wait over 30 mins for our mains to arrive, the table behind us seemed to get faster service. When the meals came they didn't all come at the same time, so more waiting until everyone had a plate of food. I can't believe this place is still in business. Save your money and go somewhere worthwhile.

Had a really lovely breakfast here with some friends! The juices are really great and the vegetarian breakfast was awesome! My partner got the bacon/egg roll and it was giant and looked pretty amazing. It's just a really cute and tranquil spot for a laid back meal!

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!! OUT OF 9 GUESTS, NONE OF US WILL EVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE!!!! We arrived at 12:45pm on a Sunday in a group of 9 People to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was not full by any means, and we had booked for 1:00pm so everyone had plenty of time to arrive. We were ushered to a table, and a waiter came to take drinks orders, only to ignore the birthday person's order of a bottle of champagne, and take a few orders from around the table. After about 30 minutes, a few drinks arrived at which point I ordered the Champagne, which did arrive quite quickly. We then ordered our Entrees and Mains (this would have been about 1:30pm. At 2:15pm, two Entrees arrived, and over then next 20 minutes the rest of the Entrees finally arrived, after which the other guests had already finished theirs. At 3:00pm, we started to complain about not receiving our food, and slowlyu over the next half an hour the remainder of the food was brought out. I ordered a steak cooked "Medium", which arrived completely raw (only the top and bottom had some colour - which was GREY), so I told the waiter to take it back to the kitchen, I had lost my appetite. Another guest had ordered a Serving of Scallops, which ended up being 3 x TINY scallops on a skewer, wrapped in a thin serving of Bacon - Not enough to fill anyone up!!! (keeping in mind this was my diabetic Grandmother)! We complained numerous times, only to be ignored, and upon leaving the restaurant neither the Chef or the Waitress/Manager (or anyone) apologized to our group. The food is overpriced, undercooked, & absolutely not worth the time we wasted sitting there. My partner and I both ended up eating Hungry Jack's on the way home.
