Good gig venue. The graduated standing area is an awesome idea! I've seen a few good bands here... usually bigger headline acts. Always a good time.

When I've come here to watch a loud band this is the place to be at. However when I came to watch quieter bands then I think my money is probably better spent elsewhere. I found it annoying that people would stand around and talk as well and you couldn't really here the quieter band on stage. I will say that I usually find something interesting that's on here for not much.

I saw Paper Kites here and it felt very teeny boppy. However, I went again to go see Cloud Control and it was incredible. So it really depends on the band and the kinds of fans they attract. Drinks were reasonable. It's only standing room which makes for a lot of people are dancing and stuff. They have a lot of great bands come through

Strange but memorable venue. Fun enough. Hosts a wide spectrum of acts throughout the year. Is pretty much only good for shows you want to stand at. Ticket price for gigs is normally worth it if you pay less than $80.

Great gig venue - saw bastille here and unlike enmore theatre its all standing - which creates a good vibe. there's tiered standing so no matter where you end up the view is pretty good. drinks are about average for city prices. probably the best gig i've been to in sydney (and i've been to a few) - partially because of bastille and also on part to the setting
