Took friends because enjoyed the experience before , ordered four beers @ $9.00 each but the Owners wife was more interested with ringing the sales up on the till and getting the money from me before the beers where even given to us, we were offered no glasses even though the label on the bottle said best enjoyed from a glass maybe she should take some interest in the porducts they serve and maybe engaged in some conversation with the patrons, Bar was not busy but she was not moving from the till and yelled the order to the bar staff who became quickly confused. Thankfully the surrondings outside made it a a pleasent time did not order a second drink and declined lunch.

I had dinner here with a friend last night and we had a good experience. As it was a warm night we chose to sit outside. There is no menu to sit down and peruse, you have to go to the bar and look at a blackboard to place your order. It is a little annoying that you have to pick a table number first, then order. We found that we had chosen our table, gone inside to peruse the board and by the time we decided to order, somebody else had taken the table we wanted. Apart from that small annoyance, we found the staff to be super friendly and the food delicious. The chicken pesto linguine was flavoursome and I could tell it was home made pesto which was fantastic. My friend had the shepherds pie which was a generous serve, crunchy chips and a salad. A really great atmosphere with the one man band singing and playing guitar too. I will certainly return.

I agree. Is 'the pig' dead? No answer on the phone, no response to emails? Such a shame if this is the case...

Was very busy, waiting staff looking overwhelmed. My "chicken fillet encrusted with herb and parmesan crumbs" (at a cost of $29.90) was just a deep fried, overly large chicked breast. The oysters kilpatrick...well lets just say the main ingredient was tomato sauce (and that was $30 for a dozen)...never again. There are so many other good choices to be had at Red HIll, Flinders....
