The Rubber Duckie Tap House

I think this venue must be cursed, as no amount of refurbing and rebranding can bring the crowds in. The beer selection is great as it's still got all of the Murray's beers on tap, but even with that drawcard I've been on several different weeknights and it's always empty. Kitchen closes at 8pm in the week (not sure about weekends) which really doesn't help to draw a crowd. They cancelled the quiz due to lack of interest, and so we have no reason to pick this over any other pub in Manly any more. The staff are not always on the ball, which is terrible when you're the only customers in the pub. Pizzas are not good here, but the burgers are better. On a Sunday afternoon this place can get a bit more lively with live music and people in for Sunday lunch, and it's a good spot to look over the beach from on a sunny day. I wish they could give it more atmosphere - it could be so muxh better!
