The Spice Route

I am at an absolute loss, all of these reviews are so positive yet my experience was anything but. Everything about our experience with this restaurant was awful. The Goan king prawn curry had about 5 small chewy pieces of frozen prawn (although there were a few tails throughout) The lamb labdabdab was inedible, the chicken tikka had six pieces of very thinly sliced chicken throughout and the lady who took my order had the audacity to change my order of three veg samosa to two veg one meat because thats what some people like. After queering this further she told me they had run out of veg samosa at lunch. I was told on the phone this order should take 20 minutes and 45 minutes later I walked out. When I called to complain about the meals I was told that they had a new chef on and that my feedback was appreciated. We will not be back at this restaurant.

Great food but very expensive

Great food, really tasty and cozy so you need to book ahead. I would and have recommend to others.

Nice....but not as great as I was expecting after reading all the reviews. The taste was nice but certainly not much meat in the dish. Price was comparable to most indian restaurants I've bought from. Service was fast & they were very helpful.I'd give it another go

Fantastic food, great service, friendly welcome every time I go there. Food is always exceptional. Authentic Indian - we've been to India and this is the closest we've ever tasted to what we experienced in Hyderabad. They even have a special on of 20% off EVERYTHING!! Very Very Happy we live so close to this amazing restaurant. The Spice Route is OUTSTANDING value and EXCEPTIONAL food, service and authenticity.
