The Train Shed

Great place for the kids and bigger kids. Lots of refreshments, and the rides are nice and long. Well worth the drive from the city.

This is an enjoyable place to visit with kids. It is also cheap and affordable. Kids under 3 years of age ride free with a paying adult and entry is free. Would definitely come back here again. My daughter got to ride with Thomas, James, Percy and Toby.

Even without going on a Cudo voucher (or whichever deal site it was), prices are not too bad for rides, and the little one's joy is value you just can't put a price on. Compared to nearby Model Park it's a little poky (but then we didn't pop into the winery), but even the little one got to a point where it was more fun for him to be riding on Thomas to worry about the size. Food was a bit pricey (to be expected), but the coffee was a decent blend. Definitely worth the trip out, and little one will want to go again.

If you have some kids under the age of 10 or so... This is a great day out. The staff are all ridiculously happy and helpful, without being annoying. The kids like the train rides (you can go with them or sit and watch). The food and coffee is quite good. The Scones are VERY good, huge and come with enough cream and jam. Been twice lately, kids loved it both times.

Entertaining for kids big and small. Cheap and fun
