Tommo's Fish & Chippery, 3/748 Rode Road, Chermside

The fish is great. The burgers are good. The service from the girls, awesome. Unfortunately the Rude male owner has turned me off from this place. He is unbearable and needs to work on his Customer Service skills.

We decided on Tommos as it looked good and we were catching up with some overseas friends we hadn't seen in 15 years. The grilled fish was bland and flavourless - it was just a piece of fish without seasoning or any type of sauce. The chips and scallops were soggy and didn't have any salt on them whatsoever and the battered fish was also bland and soggy. We could have spent the money on Bombay Bliss or something amazing like that. Overall, an entirely underwhelming experience. Will definately not be going back again. I'd much rather consume baked beans on toast!

Best potato scallops in Brisbane. Great food, great service - recently moved to the area, and they've gone the extra mile for us every time. Can't recommend them enough.

Very dissatisfied, ordered crumbed Qld barramundi and received god only knows what, resembled cod? when I rang to complain I was basicly told I did not know what I was on about, smart move on there part considering I was a pro fisherman for quite awhile in north Qld. Yes that's right it was fishing for barramundi!!!!!!! My suggestion if you use this fish and chip shop is check your fish before you leave better yet go somewhere else there is no value for money here.
