Ultra Tune Stafford

I have dealt with Ultra Tune a few times now with 2 different cars and these guys are awesome. They communicate well and answer all my questions. They also have great pricing - just go a ring around a few places to see. They only do whats needed and tell me what is needed next time.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience dealing with Ultra Tune (Webster road) during my last service. My car which was functioning perfectly fine beforehand was returned to me with a broken handbrake after a routine service and brake pad replacement. After returning the next available day, they took no responsibility of the issue saying and I quote "pure coincidence" that it happened to break. Then saying it would be a further $50-$100 out of my pocket to replace the broken part. I'm not the kind of person who normally writes negative reviews but under the circumstances I don't know what they would expect of a customer who has just returned to his car with a fault that it did not have when it was placed in their care. Then being asked to fork out even more cash to have it fixed. It leaves a very bitter feeling to have to go through situations like this when a simple apology and fix would have produced much better results and feedback regardless of the technicalities. These are just my direct experiences, I had been a loyal customer for many years up until this point but my ultimate advice is to seek else where for a more trusting mechanic when issues arise.
