VA Hair and Makeup

I am very fussy with my hair and after reading the reviews I thought I would check out the salon and I must say I'm very very pleased.!! never in my life have I been to such a welcoming fantastic salon! I actually left with what I wanted and the service is incredible.! will definitely be going back and recommending the salon to all my family and friends. Thank-you ladies at VA salon.

Super disappointed - I've never in my life turned up at a hairdresser to be turned down TWICE without any notification, the first time because there was an overbooking , the second because the hairdresser was ILL. In this day and age, a simple text would have been sufficient to notify a client soon enough to prevent them from wasting so much time driving to and from a salon - especially as they take the numbers of all clients? the only reason I can think of that sufficiently explains why there was no notification given whatsoever, is absolute laziness and carelessness. After hearing so many good things about this place I was shocked to receive such appalling service. I will be doubtlessly be warning as many people as I can from being victimised to such a time and energy sucking business. Watch out ladies and gentlemen - when you get to the salon, you may be turned down, or worse, find that there's nobody there.

Yesterday I had my hair re-styled by Simone and I'm so happy with what she has done. The whole experience was very pleasant and Simone is so lovely and helpful. I will certainly be returning, in fact I've already booked my next appointment. I highly recommened this salon :)

From the first moment I stepped in the door today on my first visit here I was in love with this salon. Great ambiance, fantastic decor but more importantly professional and welcoming experience. I'm completely in love with my new cut and colour. Saimone did a brilliant job! I now have beautiful hair, just in time for my birthday! Will definitely be going back.

You know when you go to the hairdressers and its super awkward, you get a manky cup of tea and leave with an expensive bill and not exactly what you asked for? Well VA Salon is the complete OPPOSITE!! I have been here several times and have always left with something that I love. I generally go in with no idea what I want, and every time Saimone does something amazing for me. All the staff here are lovely, and make you feel welcome even if they're busy! Would highly recommend this salon to anyone. Look no further for your new hairdresser!
