Went there with a group of 20 people for a friend's 60th birthday November 2011. The building and environment looked pleasing. We all had the $42 set menu which offers 3 choices for entree, 3 choices for main course and three choises for sweets. All the offerings on the menu sounded nice. After what seemed like forever the entrees arrived, they were extremely small and seemed to be constructed for their artistic content rather than for any food value. My partner had bruschetta, it consisted of a tiny pile of chopped tomato and onion in the middle of the plate with a tiny wafer thin piece of something brown and crisp (presumably this was the toast) balanced daintily on top. I had the vegetable soup which really consisted of pumpkin soup, which was a reasonable size serving for an entree. However everybody else complained that their entrees were very sparse and insubstantial. When maincourse arrived the food offering was a reasonable size. My partner had chicken, she and other people agreed that the chicken was much too tough and had been cooked for too long. I had barramundi which looked very nice, but was full of bones. I could not believe it, this is the first time I have ever had barramundi at restaurant which had bones in it. The only nice part of the meal was the sweets which were generous serves and which tasted very nice. Afterward we were able to help ourselves tea or coffee from a self-serve trolley. The wait staff appeared to be very young and inexperienced, and in a lot of cases just dumped the food down in front of us. At $42 the meal was a rip-off. Nobody enjoyed the first and second course, and I can assure you that none of us will ever go back there again.

Lovely but overpriced!! I took my partner to lunch here a few weeks ago for lunch, the service was great, the decor was lovely and the atmosphere was fun & relaxed. We ordered and the cocktails came out within 10 minutes but we waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive, th efood was well presented and tasted devine however we were seated outdoors and there was a considerable fly problem, I ended up with 2 flies in my meal, we went to pay for out meals and were left waiting at the counter for 5 minutes before we were offered assistance. Our two lunch meals & 2 cocktails came to over $120 thankfully we had a 25% off entertainment voucher bringing the price down to almost reasonable. But all in all we had a lovely lunch and we would probably return.

I was expecting a wonderful dining experience but this was spoilt by the extremely long wait. This was noticed by the waitperson and a complimentry beverage was offered. The beer had expired, pass the used by date, we noticed this after drinking it. One would not normally check use by dates on bottles but we had plenty of time to entertain ourselves. The food was nice but did not match the price^. We did not order dessert as we had been sitting in the chairs too long and needed a change of scenery.
