The receptionist and doctor were both rude, we rang in the morning and made a booking for 12:10 (the receptionist told us is was 10 to 12, so we were already waiting extra long). Got sick of waiting after 45 mins, and after watching people who came in after us get seen to and leave before us I spoke to the receptionist who said that the doctor was seeing to people in order of their booking, and that we were next. When I sat back down, the person next to me asked me how long we'd been waiting, and mentioned his appointment was for 12:40 - half an hour after ours - and he was worried he'd been waiting forever too. 5 minutes later, (about 12:55) that gentleman with the 12:40 appointment got called up by the doctor. I went and saw the receptionist, who didn't want a bar of it, and told me to speak to the doctor about it because he calls the patients up. When we finally got in just after 1, I asked the doctor what was going on. He was very rude, and not at all apologetic, and he just said that the other gentleman had walked in to make an appointment at 9am and that 12:40 was the earliest they could book him in and he couldn't make him wait any longer. Obviously, I was seriously unimpressed by this response, however when I pushed the issue he simply ignored me and just dealt with my husband, who was the one who needed the appointment. Never going back. On what planet does serving someone who has an appointment half an hour after someone else make sense? I am also fairly certain that there were at least 2 other people as well who were booked in after us but served before. Absolutely appalling service.
