Webber's Carpet Warehouse

I was shocked to read the review from Erin dated 7 Feb 2011, possibly they have new staff now? I have recently had dealing with Webbers Carpets and found them to be very helpful. Firstly i love that they are open on the weekend. They had 2 staff on and were able to spend the time i needed with me explaining the different carpets and underlays. The man i met at the show room was the same man who came to measure the place only 2 days later. He rang me half an hour prior to arriving, was on time, friendly and most importantly very helpful. Once he left i had a clear understanding of what i wanted/needed (which i did not recieve from the first quote i had done from an alternate store.) I recieved my quote verbally the next day and had that emailed to me to review within 15 minutes. The job was approved and layed 8 days later. I was most impressed with the service and quiality of the job that i recieved at Webber's carpets and would have no hesitation in recommending them. Especially the measurer!

We didn't have a great experience with Webbers. We didn't even make it past getting a (half) quote. The people in store were nice and helpful. Problem started when we booked a measure and quote. We were supposed to be the first appointment of the day, the guy didn't show up, we called Webbers and they obviously rang their measurer and gave him a hard time as he then called our mobile and was quite rude on the phone to us. Finally arrived almost an hour later - frustrating as we couldn't go to work until this was done. Told to expect a quote within 2 days. A week later we got one missed call. Called back twice, the person wasn't available to give us the quote. Finally a week and a half later we call again and get our ROUGH quote. It turns out that the person who measured our house forgot a measurement so they need to come out again to start the process again. Very disappointing. Look elsewhere.
