Great Location, Comfortable Large Rooms, Walk to Beach, Pool and BBQ with Cabana For lunchtime Feast. Friendly staff. Wi Fi. Off street Parking. Outdoor shower after walk back from beach. Close to town shops and restaurants. Not too close to the noise.I would stay there again.

Good, simple, clean. A bit pricey for a motel. 1st floor only has stair access. Very spacious, if a little bare decor. The only available plug for charging your electronics is two metres above the night table. The sliding door and lock did not seem very safe, but then Byron Bay does not feel like there is crime to worry about. The private path directly to the beach is great of course, far away from the main beach crowds on the one hand, and safety patrols on the other. But the sea seems relatively calm here. Location is great, close to town centre, far enough away from street to be quiet.

This accommodation is clean, comfortable and spacious and perfect location for the beach, the town and exploring the area. Staff/owner were very friendly and our stay in Byron Bay was memorable for all the right reasons - everyone should visit Byron Bay (I am a brit) and every visitor to Byron Bay should consider Wollongbar if you do not want to pay a fortune but do want decent accommodation. I do not recognise the pool from the pictures but everything else looks just perfect. Can not wait to go back!!
