Yellow Submarine Backpackers

BLACKLIST!!!!!!!!!)) we made a booking a month ago and paid deposit for 6-bed female dorm, we are 3 girls but they put us into 3 different mixed dorm ( 4-bed, 3-bed and 8-bed mixed) and said "too many backpackers stay here for long-term, and you guys just stay here for a night so we can't change the room for you!!" and we have to pay extra for 4-bed and 3-bed room. the main point is" we have a booking a month ago, why can't arrange that? and the room is shown available when i made reservation!!! and the location is so closed to train tracks, I got bad sleep at night and wake me up at early morning by a loud noise when the trains passing across. the bed is not comfortable at all, and so many backpacker stay for long time,the room is messy, kitchen is too small. I won't stay here anymore and put it on my blacklist!!!!

Perhaps a few years ago this was a great place but it is clear that no money has been spent on the upkeep in a LONG time. No air con, holes in the walls, tiny usless kitchen & dirty fridges. In the room I was in there was an extension lead running along the floor to provide power for the fan on the wall. The windows had been left open so long that the plants from outside were growing in through them. I walked right past the place the first time as I couldn't even see it for the overgrown trees and bushes outside the front. For the same money you can stay in an air con 4 bed dorm at Cloud 9 on the next street over.
