Best Thai in Melbourne!

Me n my mates been going to this humble restaurant for 7 yrs already...loving it till to date...it was in Hawthorn previously...but needed to relocate due to the shopping arcade rennovation...so for one yr we couldnt find where it moved to..untill one day my frd drove past the current address and checked if that's it...Hurray~ The PORK SPECIAL RICE DISH is the best in there...chicken special is very tasty too... it's a rice dish...with a choice of meat and Chinese broccoli with their special secret sauce.. on rice... I can assure u every Thai restaurant has the same dish but no one can make it as nice as them..matter of fact ..they all suck except Zab Thai... i mean that particular dish... The other stuff roughly taste about the same as the others...

I knew this place long before it moved here (used to be in Glenferrie). There is only one dish that you should eat here, and it's not even on the menu. It's called "Zab Thai Special" - rice, crispy skin pork, and chinese brocolli (also say you want some fried egg on top). You can also say whether you want it to be mild, medium, hot, or very hot. Personally I think medium is the best - but if you are not up for something spicy, then please order mild. I have yet to find a thai place that can beat this particular dish. I have no idea what it's proper name is. My friends and I called it simply "the Zab Special" check it out. worth every cent.
