Access

We hired a car from Access when we first moved into the area. We were making a decision between the flexicar (hire by the hour) and hiring a car through Access. The answer was simple. Access car hire were by far a better option. The staff at Access they were really happy to cater for our needs from hiring for half a day to hiring for 2 weeks. The sign up process is easy and we had a car within 15 minutes of walking in the front door.

Rented a car with Access Rent a Car last weekend (October 2013). Booked online after looking around for a company that would hire to an under 25 year old without charging an excess. Access Rent a Car was able to hire to me with no extra charges which was fantastic. Rates were very reasonable when compared to the big companies. Service was great, quick and easy and you deal direct with the owner of the business who was very helpful and there to help you. The car was very clean and well looked after. We hired the basic economy model which was a few years old and had a few KM on it, but it was reliable, had all the mod cons, was very economical and got us from A to B! We were charged a $500 bond upon hiring which was refunded immediately upon return and appeared in my account after 2 days. Definitely recommend these guys if you're visiting Melbourne/St Kilda and want good value and excellent service!

Not vey good. Took over a week to return 500 dollar deposit. But only gave me 428 back charged me for a quarter tank of fuel. Also charged me for extra day when I didn't have it an extra day.

Recently needed to rent a car for a few days. I rang around and found Access to be the cheapest. Booked a car on line. The booking went through without a problem and the car was ready when I turned up. The car wasn't brand new but it was clean and mechanically good. For the money, I thought it was good value.Staff where friendly and gave me few tips on getting around Melbourne and how to get to the Great Ocean Road. Would use then again? yeah why not

Quoted us a reasonable up front price but then loaded on the add ons which we hadn't been made aware of when we returned. Would never rent a car here again.
