Absolutely awesome, will tell everyone I know they must go. A tribute to the Irwin family. Very emotional to see what Steve achieved in the short time we had him. I was blown away. Crikey

Was not too fussed about seeing this place but thought the kids might enjoy it. Was pleasantly surprised. Well laid out, spacious enclosures and well landscaped. The croc and tiger shows were good. The croc show was a bit larrikin and ocker but i guess thats what some tourists come to see. Whilst it might only have 10-20 % of the variety of animals of Taronga or Melbourne Zoo it was very impressive for a private zoo. Good ole Steve certainly didn't hold back when he poured money into building this place. A bit expensive but a good day out for the family. Bring your own food unless you want to pay top dollar even for a mere bottle of water.

One of the best and biggest zoos I've ever been to, when you see how they treat the animals you realize how much Steve Irwin cared about animals and how they still try to carry on his work. I was shocked to see a trainer walking a wombat around the park as if she were walking her dog, when I asked her what purpose this served she informed me it allowed the animal to get out of its enclosure and smell different scents. The park is really huge and you can spend an entire day walking around looking at all of Australia's beautiful wildlife, as well as other beautiful animals from around the globe. I even purchased a koala encounter and got to hold a koala and get pictures! It was such a spectacular experience and I'm so glad I did it. You can also have encounters with loads of other animals, for an added fee. I even paid extra to visit the animal hospital onsite and got to see a baby possum, whose mother was killed, being bottle fed. My favorite part was buying kangaroo food for $2 and getting to hand-feed them. It's an experience I'll never forget.

Was a good hot day and the animals were all out. Africa was good but I'm sure it will get better as they add more animals. The main croc show was a bit awkward but entertaining.

The croc show was good, though not for the croc's. The birds stole the show. The rest of it was really just like any other zoo. Animals in cages though heaps of them and with heaps of space. The flow around the zoo is not that flash with a lot of backtracking. Could do with colour coded guidelines on the pavement. Would be well worth it for a reasonable price but at $172 for a family of 4 I'm gonna say if you have limited funds consider alternative entertainment.
