Bavarian Bier Cafe

Schnitzel was great and beer is good, what's not to love!

Bavarian Bier Cafe is a good place to catch up with friends and consume some fine German biers! The food is pretty good too, if a little expensive. I go here fairly regularly as it's right around the corner from Chatswood station so it's easy to get to for everyone and usually isn't too busy. The service can be a little bit unhurried at times, but hey, that's probably why they serve beers by the litre.

Tl;dr bad service, ok atmosphere. We had a sizable party of around 20 people. The waitress took a long time to take orders for our first drinks. When the food arrived it was cold. The last beer ordered never arrived. Despite the bad service the place itself is well placed with easy access from Chatswood station and had a reasonable ambiance to it.

The Bavarian Beef Cafe in Chatswood is a great choice for an evening of drinks and great food on the north shore. The staff are brilliant and great with recommending the perfect beer to accompany your meal, and the vibe is fun and friendly. The schnitzel is a classic must have, as is one of the amazing German wheat beers.

Bavarian is in a central location in Chatswood, allowing for easy access with parking available underground. The food is good value and the service is speedy and attentive. The bavarian is a good night out in Chatswood without having to travel into the city.
