Hassarati Smash Repairs

This has to be the most unprofessional panel beater i've ever had to deal with. After waiting over 2 weeks to have them repair my car through insurance (they handled the whole repair process), basically ALL of the panels on the front end of the car were misaligned, paint work was terrible (orange peel, contamination, swirls) and the quality of fitment was poor to say the least (panels rattled, an assortment of different trim clips used to hold panels in place). I had also discovered from the invoice that they had issued to the insurance company that they claimed to have replaced a bumper trim piece which initially had cracked paint due to the accident, with a new part. In actual fact, the only thing that they had done was paint over the cracks - which were then visible through the new paint work. Had the car brought back to them to give them an opportunity to make things right. I called after a week and was told that parts had just been received and I would need to wait another 3-4 days for fitment - this happened a total of 3 times and they ended up holding the car for an additional 3.5 weeks for repair. The final result? Appauling. Panels still do not line up, and NRMA have for some reason accepted the repair as the panel beater simply "can't do any better in regards to fitment". After over 5 weeks of the car being in their posession and still not managing to repair the car properly I am fed up. Somehow throughout the repair process they also managed to damage my rear bumper and lose a tweeter (speaker) off the door. If for whatever reason you're looking for a dodgy repairer that has no pride in their work; have no respect for your car; and work on the concept of taking short cuts and rushing the job to get it done only to have your insurance company give them another opportunity to make a royal mess of your car then you're in luck! However, if you value your car, even in the slightest and looking for a quality repairer that has the experience and ability to restore your vehicle to its original condition, run far, far away from this "panel beater" that seems to have employed monkeys to perform the work.
