I went with my date to the restaurant in early December. There was a nice feel to the restaurant, and it was not hard to convince myself that that food was going to be authentically French. The Service was courteous, however, a bus full of diners arrived just after we did so a slight delay was there before the waiter took our orders. They say the first impression of a restaurant's food is in the bread. The bread was warm (a good sign), crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. However, I get the feel that it was pre-frozen and reheated rather than baked fresh on the night. The butter of ice cold and was difficult to spread, however. Shame. The Entree I had was the snails. It was very classically done and reminds me of my time in Paris. Nice Dish. The Main I had was the Tournedos Rossini, done medium-rare. It was cooked perfectly, and the flavour was wonderful. Great dish. For dessert, I had the Chocolate Fondant. It was a bit sloppily presented as the cream was dripping off the top. However, it was very chocolaty and perhaps a little too water in the middle. Overall, I'd give the restaurant a 3.5 star. It was a nice experience. If only some details of my dining experience can be adjusted, it'll easily become a 4 star + establishment.

It's very French. The menu, the wine list, the waiters (then again aren't they everywhere?), even the mineral water. This fits really well though. The snails I had for entree were the best I've had thus far and the rabbit didn't disappoint either. The wine selected for us by the waiter also worked out and for a French wine was quite affordable. Also, you can smoke outside, completing the overall French experience!

Something different to what I'm use to (being chinese). Mussels and steak were good but fairly typical. The horse meat tartare was pretty special. I had never had it before and have not found it anywhere else since. Fancy desserts are fancy. They put passionfruit mousse INSIDE a ball of toffee. Wasn't that keen on the taste, but it sure looked amazing.

The escargots and the steak tartare are as good as they come. Pricey, but the service and the atmosphere reflect it.
