Hey, what do you want for nothing? Its pizza & pasta, it hits the spot, the price is right for family dining. Great location, grab an ice-cream down the road for dessert.

Put simply - the young waiter came with our food, threw it on our table hitting the glasses and bottles, walked away with not a spoken word.

Overcooked tastelss pasta and undrinkable wine. Don't bother, even though it's cheap.

I used to live around the corner from this place and back then it was better than the one in Carlton and was always packed with hungry punters. The business seems to have changed hands a few times now in quick succession and the change of ownership hasn't done the place any favours. It's ok but a shadow of its former self.

Sunday Lunch. Not as busy as usual. 8 of us. 3 Pizzas. 1 Focachia, 3 Pastas. Simple. Not quite. The service and food at La Porchetta is generally average. Cheap, fast, ok but usually a bit greasy and not much on the pizzas. The MacDonalds of Italian food. Our Pizzas and Focaccias arrived very quickly. We waited for the other meals for a while but decided to eat as the food was nearly cold. The Pastas arrived 40 minutes after the Pizzas were finished. 3 waitresses were asked and I do not think any relayed our concearns to management or kitchen. "It is comming soon". Yeah right. No explanations. No appologies. No action. We could not get anyone to care. That was the worst.
