This is THE place in Toowong. Friendly and a welcome smile continues through to the food ..the very practical menu ...an excellent wine list and they know their wines. Don't expect an Italian inspired menu...this a modern menu that is kept up to date with good daily specials. The proprietor is a Swiss Hotel School graduate and he really knows his stuff ! You will return.

The food was the best Italian I have ever had! Perfectly cooked seafood and pasta not to mention the beautiful lemon tart I managed to stuff in for dessert! Great atmosphere, Great service Great time! Cant wait to get back there : )

Overpriced and poor quality food

If you're after anything authentically Italian... don't come here! Sure, they have a (single) bottle of Italian wine on the menu, and there are some Italian words there too, but it is nothing like what you would get in Italy, and the staff don't speak Italian. I had the caprese for a starter, but the mozzarella di bufala was all mashed up, and not fresh. The tomatoes were flavourless, and it was all drowned in mediocre olive oil to compensate. The main was the veal, which was definitely decent, though more Aussie than Italian in style. Service times were long, and the bill for 2 people (starter, main, no desserts with a bottle of wine and a beer beforehand) was over $200!!! Noisy and overpriced.

There much better Italian restaurants in Brisbane than this one. I found the food to be incredibly disappointing & would definitely not go back.
