0.67/3 The shop owners are retiring and will closing by end May 2013. There is a great storewide sale of 20% off all books and grab a bargain and say goodbye. I have brought my kids there before, the staff were not too happy when kids browse through the children books. One of the staff would stand behind us and when we walk away, she would rearrange the books. We even get the staff to tell us to keep the kids out of the shop. When we knew the shop is closing, we were there again but the staff were much more tolerant of kids, beat me why the change of attitude. Anyway, we pick our books and said goodbye and wish the owners well.

3/3 What a fabulous bookshop. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpfully offer suggestions when I am hunting for gifts. Their understanding of appropriate books for children of different reading ages and tastes means that I have never had a bad choice for children. If they don't stock what you want, they will always order it in and happily check databases for availability of titles. It is a quiet haven to browse and find something interesting.
