Mr Windscreens

These guys have very poor communication skills. DO YOUR RESEARCH before taking your car here. Or do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

After having a the fixed (non-sliding) window in my rear door smashed by someone trying to break in I called Mr Windscreens for a repair. I asked a) if they had the window in stock and b) if it could be fixed while I wait. I was told the window was in stock and it would take 1 to 1.5 hours. The reality was a) it has to be ordered in after I arrived, b) they made we wait 3.5 hours, c) an other customer that didn't call ahead had his windscreen fixed before I got my car, d) the exterior trim almost flew off the car when I left as it had not been replaced properly, e) the interior trim is not replaced properly with gaps everywhere and f) the window is not airtight and is very noisy. This is easily the worst service I have received for as long as I can remember.

Don't even think about using these butchers! I'm sorry that google made me give them 1 star for this rating! These blokes installed a windscreen with 3 bubbles in my drivers side view, I got a "defective vehicle" notice from the Victoria Police because of it on the 3rd day. They refused to replace it.

Recently went to Mr Windscreens for our bmw and i am happy with the servce provided. The windscreen replacement offered is great and i will love to come back. We also are looking for car tinting and we are going to nominate them for the service.

Absolutely terrible experience this business Mr Windscreen is on a main road with lots of cars trucks and heavy traffic it was very hard to get in and out of with no outside parking and a full drive way of cars with no way to get in. the waiting room was also very dirty with an old tv that doesn't work very ordinary business I should of gone to instant windscreens up the road where there is lots of customer parking and is a much safer location to get out of my car
