On Ramen

Plenty of ramen choices, their signature was great! Service was quick and efficient. Liked their use of real candles and not those fake ones. ;)

Good quality dishes, tending on the sweet side.

OK this is my first ever review so be kind! I'll try and post a few more reviews as I get used to this! Anyway just came back to Sydney after a dream trip to Japan and I was craving for some ramen so dropped by here for first time with a few friends on Saturday night. Place was packed but the service was excellent from the cute friendly waitresses. We were introduced to their summer specials getting free ice cream dessert for any ramen set or bento box. Waitress also told us about their new cold ramen menu which you get a free homemade ice lemon green tea. I had the Beef tongue ramen bento which was excellent value. The ramen noodles and soup was very tasty and filling and I also got a nice sampler dish of takoyaki ball, Japanese cheese sausage and salmon sashimi and a small salad. My friends ordered the Tenderous pork rib ramen bento, Chicken teriyaki bento box and we also tried the cold ramen Hiyashi karaage. Their food looked great too! I'm going back this week to try the cold ramen as the little nibble I tasted was fantastic. Ice cream was yummy and just perfect to finish off! We got green tea, black sesame and lychee flavours. This little shop seems very popular and I could definitely see why. We saw a lot of diners taking photos of the decor which was very cute and unique, candlelit and warm for a date yet casual enough for a group hangout! The shop is rather small so when it was packed, it can get quite crammed. The service was quick, friendly and efficient and the food was excellent just like in Japan. I'll be coming back for more especially as they gave us a loyalty card at the end for Free meal after 10 stamps. Well done guys Domo arigato

Beef Bento box actually had a couple of small frankfurts in it! The beef itself was tough and covered in a strange tasting garnish. Coleslaw was like it was from Woolies and there was no wasabi anywhere. Miso soup was the best part. I don't get how this place is so popular.

Nice ramen and they have wasabi octopus!
