We sat at the Tapas train which was kinda neat. Some of the dishes were quite mediocre, patates bravas and the baby octopus but a couple were great - the garlic and aioli squid, meatballs and the mint custard dessert. The decor is nice, it's reasonably trendy and the ambience is good. The service was excellent, the waitress was attentive and the dishes were out quickly. The cost is a little rich, $10 for 5 small pieces of Churros but we were there on a Tuesday so it's two for one tapas, this brought the total on the bill to a reasonable price. Overall, I'd say it's a good place and I think most people would have a nice night there but I think some of the food needs to be a little bit better for the price.

I have never experienced the kind of things mentioned in the negative reviews here. I've had many meals at Pintxo, both at the Tapas Train and in the restaurant and the food has always been faultless and delicious. The sangria is wonderful!! Adam, the Manager is a credit to the restaurant and works hard (as do the rest of the staff) to ensure a memorable dining experience. Melissa, Pintxo's owner is a delight, ever the ideal host :). If diners want thoroughly authentic, to-the-letter Spanish food, then I would suggest a trip to Spain. As with most international cuisines, food served outside of the originating country is often revised to suit the local palate. I've always found Pintxo's offerings to be tasty, fresh and well prepared. I don't take my dining so seriously. I enjoy the overall experience of food, friends, music and atmosphere, and all go well together at Pintxo.

Service is worst I have ever had. Had an absolutely awful experience here a while back. Food was delivered to the wrong table and when we pointed it out they attempted to take the food from the other patrons and give it to us even though some had already started eating. Food was lacklustre at best and service is abysmal. Will never go back and encourage others to avoid.

We went to Pintxo and the tapas train was a spectacular flop. The same dried out skewers passed us all night. Hardly any new tapas came out. The staff were forgetful and slow. Lucky for them the sangria was strong - when they didn't fill the glass with ice instead of drink. Basically $170 later we were still hungry and only half cut. Watch out.
