Lovely room, about what you'd expect for the cost. But when oh when will the so-called luxury hotels in Australia stop charging extortionate rates for Wifi? It ain't that hard or expensive, hoteliers.

The casino was nice and had a variety of machines and tables, but we were disappointed that the cheapest blackjack was $20 - didn't really make us want to play. There were a few restaurants, but they were all Asian and Chinese, so we were disappointed here too, but maybe it speaks for their clientèle? The venue was nice and clean, and the staff were friendly. Overall it was a bit disappointing.

What a stunning surprise! Have to admit I got this hotel as a Mystery Hotel online & was blown away by the level of service & feel of the place. Its surprisingly understated for a casino hotel & very well thought out. Check in was smooth & easy, staff polite & helpful & the rooms & facilities fantastic. The bed was by far the most comfortable. Couldn't fault a thing! Parking inexpensive, casino a nice distance & not at all noisy. I come down once a month from Daintree especially to do a particular Yoga class so I think the Reef Casino will now be my home away from home.
