The big breakfast is wholesome and definitely one of the standout dishes on the menu. Please visit our blog ChopinandMysaucepan for an objective and honest review.

Love this place. Go regularly as it's local but more importantly the food is divine. The service is fantastic. They never make you feel rushed. Most of their cakes are homemade. The space and the vibe are great. Good crowd. Plenty of street parking which is always fantastic.

We'd heard that Revolver was good, but I wasn't expecting it to be this good. They've pretty much got everything spot on. The only downside is that their customers know this and you may have to wait for a table. The building is a Victorian and the furniture is eclectic, mixing metal tables with vintage chairs. I personally love the modern 'gears' motif they have complementing period finishes, my wife was less enamored with these. I knew I was in for something special when my tea arrived with a running egg timer. Nice touch. We had just arrived for a simple breakfast. And the modest prices on the menu have us no clue as to the gourmet experience that awaited. They've clearly worked hard to mix some fascinating flavors. My bacon and scrambled egg came with fresh mint. The service was also impeccable and they were very gracious.

There are some really weird flavours going on in this restaurant! The big breakfast is delicious but it is weird - they bake the eggs, and there are some odd spices, but everything tastes pretty good. Not for fussy eaters. It's moderately priced and the coffee is astoundingly good. I was particularly impressed they bring me some tonic water with my long black. Don't even bother going on a weekend because the line for a seat is like an hour long.

Yum. The breakfast bowl is unique, tasty and great value. I'm currently sipping at my super tasty piccolo latte and enjoying every moment. Knowing the popularity of this cafe we weren't surprised by the 15 minute wait for a table. Definitely a favourite.
