Was made promises of extra product due to poor service during the buying process. Never received the small item. When I contacted their main customer service centre they did nothing about it. Was turned off - will not be buying my next vehicle from them.

I was buying a Hyundai, and started talking to a few dealers to see different colours and get the best price, this Hyundai dealer was the dodgiest of them all. Sales guys would employ dirty tactics, I caught them out in a few lies, I ended up signing a contract with them (the price was the same and these guys were the closest dealer), and they sold me a car they didn't have, a few days after signing they said that there would be a 2 month wait because Hyundai Australia screwed up (even though other dealers told me ahead of time there would be a wait). After the contract was signed, no one would take my calls or return calls. Poor experience altogether. I cancelled the contract and went with another dealer, bought the same car for the same price, but I just didn't want to deal with the Arncliffe guys anymore. The other dealer was like chalk and cheese, they were friendly, didn't pressure me, told me facts upfront (about delays, availability, etc). Glad I switched.

Booked my car in for a service, was giving a time when the vehicle would be ready, when that time elapsed I was called advising my car would take another 4 hours? Much to my dismay, I went to reception, and the guy I had booked my car in with retrieved my job card and it clearly stated it would be ready for 12pm. Naturally embarrassed as one would be, giving the insidious effects of the situation, he went and investigated, then it was relayed to me that my car would be ready 1 – 2 hours?? How can there be such a discrepancy in time?? Had there been unforeseen circumstances, and, had these subsequently been communicated to me promptly, this would have gone some way to mitigate my dismay. However, being told 30 mins after I expected to get my car back, that it was going to take another 4 hours is unacceptable. Communication please????? These people have no appreciation for other peoples time, and this I was able to confirm with other customers who had been waiting alongside me, whose remarks about Suttons Arncliffe where disparaging to say the least. What I didn't appreciate it either was being called by a member of Suttons advising me they were going to carry out other work, and expecting me to agree without liaising with me, the problems they diagnosed and their proposed action to remedy the situation. Please don't assume again! Communication please????? However what really confounded the situation, as I had provided a feedback score of “Three”, was a rather incredulous female reception member call me up who had the audacity to argue with me? Have you missed the point of “feedback” my dear? Do they not teach you down there that all feedback, regardless if positive or negative is valuable feedback? Due to her iniquitous attitude and embryonic customer service skills I decided to terminate the call. Maybe it's the psychological subordinate behavioural tendency that prompted her to migrate from her level… who knows? Probably looking a pay rise!!! Consequently I gave you guys a “Three” for feedback. After my less that salubrious conversation with lady muck that has now become a “One”. Ubiquitous car servicing in Sydney, should really give you guys motivation to “up your game” as I will not be back!! Customer service and communication is key in today's world of retail, and sadly you fall short on both. Regards A Disgruntled customer

I had my car there for a few things to fix and some services and have been quite happy so far. They even fix small things for free.

Super glad to read the previous review. I just bought a Suttons Arncliffe service deal from Spreets for my Toyota; and I'm looking forward to them servicing my car this well. Ian.
