The Watershed Hotel

Must go! we ordered the ribs and a steak which arrived at our table less than five minutes after we'd sat down. i was surprised to find that food that was cooked so quickly was impeccable without being pretentious. the view was outstanding and the vibe was great - being a pub without too many loud patrons, just a lot of friends catching up for a beer and a bowl of wedges. if you're in the area forego any other chain steakhouses (which i won't name) and have some authentic aussie pub food. also great for date night/first dates ;-)

Date night on the water front has the view, the food, the drinks and the atmosphere. This place delivers this all without too much trouble. The food came out so quick it had me wonder whether it was already prepared. Its a shame though to spend almost $30 on a 300g steak and have the ordered medium-rare actually be medium-well. Dry, dead piece of sirloin cooked in beautiful marinade... The ribs were beautifully done and amazing to taste. I would definitely return in the future, but I'll be looking at the schnitzel.

Watershed is a really nice place to go! With one of the most amazing views of Sydney, located in Darling Harbour. Full of beautiful people and with a great menu! But, sometimes the songs that are played are not too good.

Good restaurant but the bar waiters try to charge you the full price rather than the early meal price. Not accidental happened 3x but I just shrug it off and remind them that their advertisement is $14 for a schnitzel and beer. They go and change it. The $14 schnitzel, fries, salad and beer is available Mon-Thur and it is actually pretty good. Good scenery; if you sit outside the cigarette smoke will get to you. Inside is smoke free as far as I can tell.
